Romancing the Story
The perfect Valentine’s Day gift, to yourself, or to the one you love.
The Vision
Three nights. Four days. Eight writers. One luxurious mountain getaway only 30 miles from the heart of Denver. A place to write. A place to share. A place to indulge. Writing shouldn’t be about denying ourselves—writing should be about gifting our imaginations with a place that invites the impossible and welcomes the improbable. Romance your story, your poems, your life. Give the perfect Valentine’s Day gift—to yourself, or to the one you love. Writing facilitation by graduate-level writing instructor Page Lambert.

The Writing Focus
This 4-day/3-night retreat combines private writing time with opportunities each day to share and discuss your work with Page and the other six writers-in-residence. Page Lambert, a graduate-level writing instructor and leader of writing retreats for twenty five years, will facilitate the discussions, offering specific craft-based feedback. Each writer will also have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Page to discuss your project, writing challenges, goal setting, and more. Sunday will include a discussion on publishing basics, from querying literary agents to researching editors, imprints, and more. The workshop is appropriate for long and short-form fiction, creative nonfiction, memoir, essay and poetry. Once you have registered, Page will be in touch about your goals for the retreat, what to bring, etc.
