The 2025 Berkshires Vibrant Landscape of Writing
Private Venue! – Boulderwood Farm
Stockbridge, Massachusetts
Sunday, October 12 to Thursday, October 16, 2025
Bring the vibrancy of New England’s fall colors to your writing during this 5-day intensive retreat at beautiful Boulderwood Estates, a private home near Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Immerse yourself in the landscape of your fiction, creative nonfiction, or poetry project while guided by Page’s experienced eye in small group discussions, and during one-on-one private sessions with Page.
Limit: 7 writers-in-residence
Each morning will begin with a Creative Focus Session after breakfast designed to inspire and offer guidance. Private writing time will follow with the opportunity for one-on-one sessions with Page to discuss the more intimate aspects and challenges of your project.
Lunch will continue the literary theme as we immerse ourselves in creative conversation before returning to the solitude of afternoon writing.
Each full day will include an optional, guided outdoor excursion into the beautiful New England landscape to awaken our writerly senses to the living world around us. Dinners at Boulderwood will extend our sense of retreating from the outer world while allowing us the companionship of other writers as we move ever more deeply into the inner world of our work. The days will draw to a close as we gather in the living room around the glow of a fire for evening wrap-ups.
